Once had buddies—
together
we rolled on this busy
Highway of life.
Out on the desert road;
there-and-then:
They dumped me…
‘You’re becoming a burden,
You’re becoming heavy,
You’re becoming a responsibility.’
…so they said…
Up-and-down:
I faced
manier dunes—
Up-and-down with:
Teary & itchy eyes,
A dry throat,
A groaning stomach,
weak knees and sore feet—
I wandered.
